About This Station

The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus weather station and went online March 2004. The data is collected every 1 second and the site is updated every 5 seconds. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of a temperature sensor, humidity sensor, an anemometer, a rain gauge, a solar sensor, a UV sensor and a laser snow sensor which continually measures snowfall and snow depth. All measuring equipment is situated in optimal positions for the highest accuracy possible. In May of 2014 a Leaf Wetness & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station was added to support the local agricultural community and gardening interests.

Here is a functioning sample of what the weather station console looks like, the gray Lamps button turns on the backlight and the black buttons in the left column select the various graphs.
